Marna & Mark We have been married for more than 19 years. We met in college when we were 22 years old and six months later we were married. We are very proud of our 19-year marriage, and while we both have different personalities, we have truly formed the life long union of friendship and partnership we promised in our wedding vows. We're both 41 years old, healthy and active. We live in a small town is west Los Angeles called Pacific Palisades. The Palisades really has the feel of a small town, and is nothing like the Los Angeles you see on the news. Our house is less than a mile from the ocean where we ride bicycles together. Other activities include the occasional ski trip, golf, walks to the dog park, Dodger baseball games and movies. Mark grew up on a farm/ranch in rural Colorado, while Marna grew up in Pueblo, a small town in southern Colorado. While we both enjoy the many things Los Angeles has to offer, we are grateful for our small town upbringing and the integrity it installed in us. Mark is a District Sales Manager for the largest manufacturer of Copper tube in the world. Marna is a Marketing Executive for a television network.

We both have successful careers, and are financially stable. While we have both been successful in our careers, we feel a big void in our lives because we never had a child. It isn't of particular importance to us that the child be our biolo-gical child. Somehow we feel that adopted children are special as their parents choose them. Please understand the child we adopt will know what it is to experience the perfect love that can only exist between a parent and a child.
